Our main topic is Schiphol, with the focus on Schiphol airport in the Netherlands. To get information about this topic we started to search on Google with search words; Schiphol, Schiphol Airport, Schiphol Statistics and Schiphol jaarverslag. These particular search words resulted in a direct link namely; www.schiphol.nl/schipholgroup/company. We looked at the website and found statistics of the whole Schiphol group and statistics in the annual reports of 2013 from Schiphol airport. The annual report of Schiphol provided us several statistics useful for creating an infographic of Schiphol airport. The statistis who are provided by the annual report of Schiphol Airport are; number of flights, number of customers, financial numbers, cargo flights, number of luggage transported etc. By reading the annual report of Schiphol airport we managed to get a good grip on our topic aviation. Secondly, other websites provided us of information about aviation in general. The website www.aviationweek.com showed us several topics linked to aviation like; technology, commercial aviation and business aviation.
Lastly, a big promoter for Aviation was our group member Enes Aliskan . He is trying to become a pilot for Turkish Airlines. He told us about the numbers of possibilities of Aviation and he convinced us to use Aviation as our group topic/story.
